This page explains how to request deletion of your PillBin account
(package name com.nikhil.pillbin) and the data associated with it.
Send an email to byadav1723@gmail.com with:
Sending from your registered address is how we confirm the request is genuinely yours. If you can no longer access that address, email us anyway and we will ask for another way to verify your identity.
You will receive a confirmation once the deletion is complete. Requests are actioned within 30 days, and usually far sooner.
| Data | What happens |
|---|---|
| Account details (name, email address, phone number) | Permanently deleted |
| Medicine inventory, expiry records and notes | Permanently deleted |
| Medical conditions saved to your profile | Permanently deleted |
| Uploaded photos | Permanently deleted |
| Saved centers, badges and impact statistics | Permanently deleted |
| Assistant conversation history | Permanently deleted |
| Reviews, blog posts and comments | Deleted, or detached from your identity if you ask us to leave them up |
| Notification device token | Permanently deleted |
Records of completed donations are kept in anonymised form, with your name, email address and phone number removed. This is because a receiving medical center holds its own record of the medicines it accepted, and receipts already issued need to remain verifiable. These retained records cannot be linked back to you.
Routine backups may contain your data for up to 30 days after deletion, after which they are overwritten in the normal backup cycle.
You do not need to delete your whole account to remove specific information. From inside the app you can delete individual medicines, remove your own reviews and posts, and clear your assistant conversation history at any time.
